HOLLY SUZANNE RADER
Inspired by fashion, street art, nature and vintage glamour, Holly’s work is an escape into nostalgic romanticism. She credits her love for bright “flower” colors and rhinestone embellishments to her charmed southern upbringing. This world collides with her adult life in forms of punk and graffiti influences living outside New York City. Her collages feature glittering heroines and silver screen actors from a bygone era dripped, layered and embellished into modern portraits.
Babylon is a place of mystery, pleasure, heartbreak, courage and often bittersweet endings. This most recent collection of Holly’s work portrays beloved faces from Hollywood. These were lives that are both charmed and tragic. They are adored by many yet truly known to very few.
